ー Wedding reportー

"I love this space. If I were to have a wedding, I would like to have my wedding photos taken here."
Thank you for using The Classic House at Akasaka Prince for a long time.
The bride said so.

Such a lovely wedding photo of the couple
Let me introduce you to a family dinner party.

-Wedding Dress-

The bride's destined dress is luxurious and feminine
Captivating celebrities from around the world and Hollywood actresses
Items from Monique Lhuillier.

A long-sleeved dress made of luxurious lace
It exudes classical elegance and a mesmerizingly dramatic atmosphere.

The off-shoulder top beautifully shows off the décolletage, and the translucent lace with rose designs.
A sturdy, long train
For brides who are classical ballet dancers
It beautifully enhances your delicate and feminine soft charm.

-Wedding Photo-

The Classic House at Akasaka Prince began its history as a residence for the Imperial family.
A beautiful Western-style building with medieval English Tudor style architecture.
It is a special place that has been loved by many people for over 90 years.

When the bride and groom stand up, it's like they've traveled back in time.
It creates a classical and romantic world view.

The chandeliers, pottery, and cabinets that decorate the mansion
These are furnishings that have a part in the history of this mansion.
In this space, graceful moments are woven that recall those times.
The two of them look like a scene from a foreign movie.

Since opening as Akasaka Prince Hotel in 1955,
Bar Napoléon has been loved for a long time.
Edith Piaf, Parisian Streets, Coco Chanel, etc.
The space was designed with a theme reminiscent of France in honor of French Emperor Napoleon.
One of the nice photo spots.
The two of you will clink your glasses together first and toast.

Shortly after stained glass became popular in Japan,
The artisans who served the Imperial Court carefully matched each piece of colored glass to create this piece.
Stained glass arch window.
Its existence alone demonstrates the worthiness of this mansion to remain a tangible cultural property.
The stained glass shines in the light from the high ceiling.
It illuminates the two of you softly and elegantly.

Kioicho, where Classic House is located, is a historic town that was originally home to the mansions of the Tokugawa Gosanke (three main families of the Tokugawa clan).
It is a place with lush greenery and a quiet atmosphere that makes it hard to believe it is in the heart of the city, and where the aroma of culture remains strong.

The private garden within the mansion allows you to feel the leisurely pace of time in this town.
Enjoy your time together while taking in the sounds of the birds, the water, the sunlight and the greenery.

-Wedding Party-

Your precious family is now together.
We will celebrate the couple as they embark on a new chapter in their lives with a delicious meal.

Meals will be served in the "Mirror Room," which was once the royal bedroom.
This luxurious space was a hospitality space that was also used as a suite during the time of the old Akapuri.

A large chest of drawers and doors decorated with arabesque patterns, and a clock with lettering engraved in mother-of-pearl, a type of shell.
You can feel the elegance and history of this cultural asset that has stood the test of time for 90 years.

"Welcome," they said, as if inviting us into their home.
The bride and groom will warmly welcome all of their families.

At the start of the meal, the chef will introduce a full course meal to everyone.

The famous "consomme soup", which has been passed down since the days of the old Akapuri, is aged for three days.
We want you to enjoy the scent as well.
Pour into a wine glass and enjoy.
When the hot soup is poured into the glass
Gold flakes float to the top of the glass, and the fragrant aroma of the soup fills the room.
There were exclamations of surprise at the table: Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen anything like this!

The couple wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of a classic house together.
This will also give your family time to experience the history and architecture of the mansion.
During the party, live violin music was played.
Guests were able to enjoy this classical architectural beauty along with the elegant melody of the canon.

The sunroom next to the main room
It is an open space with plenty of natural light pouring in from two sides, a wall of windows and a skylight.

By getting up and moving around, the bride and groom and the guests will feel closer to each other.
Enjoy conversation and a firm handshake in a relaxed atmosphere.
We enjoyed a warm welcome and photo session.

The meal will conclude with a meal of Classic House's specialty, afternoon tea.
The colorful petit fours are also eye-catching.
Each one is carefully crafted by a pastry chef.
A comfortable and peaceful tea time flows by.

It's almost time to close.
The relieved expression of the bride and groom as they give their thank you speech.
The smiles and gazes of the whole family create a very warm atmosphere.

Congratulations today, thank you for coming
The couple's wedding ceremony came to a close with a polite farewell to each and every person.

The day of your wedding is what you will be living one year, five years, ten years from now.
I sincerely hope that it will be a time that you will want to look back on again and again.
I am happy to be able to spend time with your story in the future.
